These days I've been doing alot of Yoga focusing on the body and mind. Its an amazing way to free your mind from all negative thoughts, and all the toxins inside your body. It provides you with a positive outlook towards life. And from a healthier point of view, it helps your muscles stretch and you'll be able to do things with your body that you didn't know you were able to do. It helps with the back bone support of your whole body. Its also a form of meditation with lots and lots of POSITIVE energy!

You, should try it sometime.

Where have I been?
I've been around but I have been too lazy to blog.

And in between I have been to Spain for 10 days, Barcelona and Marbella.

Barcelona is one of the prettiest cities I've been to, it was artsy, and had a beachy scene as well.

Alot to see and go to in Barca, places such as La Sagrada Familia, the unfinished Church that Gaudi had planned.

His beautiful gardens and architectures were beautiful in the eyes of those who appreciate Art and Beauty.

Barcelona's Stadium was a choice, and I'm glad I chose to go see it, it was a large stadium and it was nice to see it in real life. The players locker room, their jacouzzi, their changing room.

A room filled with old belongings of ancient players with their awards though glass windows. And near each a brief story about every detail you see. It was entertaining and you would love it if you were a true fan of Barcelona.
I enjoyed the walk and took a few snap shots.

Marbella was more of a relaxing zone, from all the walking I did at Barcelona I needed the rest, all I did was eat and go to the beach.

I enjoyed 2 shows of the famous Flamenco Dance.
Once in Barcelona, the other in Marbella.
The one in Marbella was my favourite.

Pottery Barn Now Open In Kuwait!:

Yesterday I went to the Avenues with some friends for dinner, while walking around we decided to take a look at Pottery Barn! 3 words I can say... "WE LOVED IT"!

I got so excited! there were very lovely dinning tables, couches, garden tables, garden accessories, jewelry boxes so beautifully made! and my favourite piece was the Apothecary Table that Rachel from FRIENDS got! I loved it!

Everything looked so pretty, lovely displays!
But we had a feel to the place that it was more of a Country-house set up, or more of a shalaih setting...STILL! You should go ahead and take a look.

I really am a big fan of action hero movies even though I'm not interested with the comic books, but the movies I have to see! I thought of Iron Man2 as a really cool movie, and loved everything about it. Scarlet Johanson looked soo pretty in the movie as well!

Hope this year will be a better year work wise and in life in general. Things have been hectic and really a rollar coaster of events here and there. Love life has been rather dramatic and a sad story by itself, but trying to cope with everything as a mature young lady since my Birthday has come up:D that was a very eventful night , actually celebrated twice, one night before and the actual night of my Bday 22/1..

There was a rather public casting process for the role, with established actresses like Jennifer Garner, Diane Kruger, and Keri Russell allegedly also in the running.

The subconscious is a very dangerous piece of our brains. It creates allusions inside our head of what we can and cannot achieve. What we think is impossible is actually possible, what is really hard to accomplish can be accomplished. The important things to keep in your head is a very Clear Positive Thinking, with nothing that can affect you in any way. By the way that's one of the hardest things to do, you have to really ignore all those noisy bits of small talk inside your head and just try to create a new friend who can be Positive and who can help you through your endeavors. A really good social network (friends, family, loved ones) is a must for they're the ones who help us through all our tough times. But first YOU have to help yourself, your inner thoughts and feelings before communicating it with the others. When you have a clear head you can achieve so much more, and maybe help others as well.

Thank God for that. But then, we need that Happy ending. I admire those who do it by themselves, I really do. But I know its hard, I can tell. Because no body can live by themselves like that, its just too hard to handle. You would have to devote all of your life to something, a hobby, some kinda passion in order to surpass your circumstances. Aaaah, life. I sometimes wish I was never born to have felt all this pain and all this sadness, But then I think...When I die, I will have witnessed it all, hopefully. The good and the bad. Its just part of growing up and part of life in general. No matter what age group you belong to, you will pass through the rocky mountains of hardship, heartache, breakups. They will hurt like hell that you can't stop crying, and you sometimes can't even breathe. Believing in yourself is the first step, who are you? what's your purpose in life? If you can answer those two questions, then I can say you have reached a really valiable place in your life and I applaud you for that. Cuz, its a very tough question. Its only when you actually go through this whole experience is when you understand how serious and bad Cancer is, whether its you, a family member or a close relative or a freind. I hope it won't even come close to you, or those around you, cuz all I can say is, Its Bad, very Bad. May God keeps us Safe, and Healthy always, el Hamdela.

Well, this movie, also a book, is very moving and when I watched it I sobbed like a baby, so beware! Yet, it's so beautiful, it makes you appreciate the simplest things in life, and makes you always be thankful for the little things, and all the love you have around you.

What do you do when you fall down?

What do you do when you feel so down that nothing or nobody can help you?
You already talked to your close friends about it.
You already thought about it in your head over and over and over again.
You tried to make yourself forget about it.
But,
at the end of the day, your thoughts is what your stuck with, they haunt your mind and talk to you, they don't let you sleep. They don't let you eat, they make you feel sad most of the time, you feel depressed.
I believe there's some good in everybody, even if they're mean sometimes deep down they are kind.
I believe when you lose somebody you've been with for years and you grew up together, and loved eachother you become hurt, but you still love them and feel happy for them. Even though they Hurt you, you eventually learn to forgive and forget cuz people move on, they grow up.
I believe when you hold so much emotions inside you they start building up inside you, and then they slowly affect you physically. People will see it through your eyes.
I believe when your sad, and you become weak you feel like nobody understands you or listens to you, but there are those in your life who are willing to listen.
I believe even though I've gone through Hell in my life, yes it makes you stronger, and yes it makes you learn from your mistakes, but why do we keep hurting ourselves? We're old enough to have self-conscience.
In my life, I have many important people that I can't live without.
Two, I have lost.
I'm broken.
I don't even think I'm making sense to you, but I'm writing my sad flawless thoughts.
I love you both so much, and I will never forget our special memories together, I really wish you love and happiness in your lives, I really do.

First of All, I miss writing sooo much whenever I say I wana go blog I fall asleep! Infact right now my eyes are shutting down! But i'll give you a quick recap of the last 2 weeks;s damn! Since I last blogged...
Its been a crazy month for sure! I'm done with my Induction, and Hamdila I have Passed:) Those studying days are over finally!
But, then came the sad tears of letting go of my new group of friends we had a good 2months together, even though sometimes you wanted to kill some:p
The hard part comes next...

I've been taken all the way to Sharq Branch, and to my "good fortune" they work Two Fuckin Shift! I come back home SO exhausted, and when I sleep, I dream about the Branch!!! Thats just how bad my life has gone!
I'm forced to stay there for a month! and nobody in the branch knows that, except for 1 girl I'm asked to sit with to learn about all the transactions. And OMG it gets soo Boring! and Really Smelly! cuz most clients are Indians, but Really Really! Theyre the sweetest people you can meet, and better than having Old Kuwaiti men or Women who give you a hard time, and a Headache!
ok Guys, i'll continue tomorow, cuz im soo sleepy and im seeing white clouds from exhaustion;s

This week/Holiday was soo much fun! I spent first day of eid with family went to grandmas for lunch had ghozi was SO DELICIOUS! and many many other dishes and desserts:* YUM! then i went back home watched the last episode of Um el Banat, was glad for the happy ending:D spent the rest of the day at home sleeping, eating, watching movies..
Second day, went to the shalaih with my freinds and spent 3 nights there doing everything from swimming, tanning, eating, playin, relaxing, chilling and drawing:)
Thursday&Friday nights were spend bel deera with a freind chillin', driving around in this beautiful weather:* and gettin some bites for dinner:)
Overall this holiday was the most fun i had in a very longtime:) Plus, this energy, positivity and Hyper mood im in is helping ALOT!
I hope it stays for the rest of next week, since work is always boring, and stressful.

This girl I know had a dream...
Unfortunately her dreams are all falling down hill, wishing to change many things in the past, just to make things better. But you know what they say, life is all about experiences, and those bad experiences are what makes people grow up and become stronger. This girl indeed did become much more stronger, self reliable, enduring life's utmost difficulties with courage. Of course there are those days, the days where she cries silently into her pillow, and falling asleep to yet a new brighter day. But still, those memories keep haunting her from time to time, but you know what she does? she imagines herself shes in this beautiful, celestial world with many friends who love her and care for her. And a family that supports her in every step she takes. All of this, my friends, is a blessing from God, love helps everyone go on with their lives and make them able to conquer all obstacles.
Heart breaks are the worst part in her life, meeting new people, then finding out who they really are, bastards! those people, who take advantage of those with delicate hearts.
Maybe finding that perfect someone doesn't happen to everybody, all those fairy tales are just in movies and books they don't happen for real. In this real world we live in we can't trust no body even those we are told are "Amazing" people, but in relationships they suck, they do what everybody else does, hurt those who love them mostly.
This girl is just going through this phase, but this phase will end oneday, and that perfect person will show up eventually, won't he?

At some point in our lives, even the plainest among us has been called one (or more) of the above adjectives, usually by the men in our lives or by random dudes who just feel like sharing their opinions..
It can be confusing to figure out if there's a hierarchy (is it better to be beautiful or hot?), or if some terms overlap (does "cute" mean someone pretty whose personality is fetching, too?). You won't really get any coherent answers to that question, because, as we know, not all words mean the same things to different people, and, for example, not all men think "pretty" is better than "hot" or that "hot" is better than "cute."

But this isn't about dealing with whois who? But rather it's about spilling the beans about which one you get the most. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but after you answer, tell me how you feel about the compliment you get. Do you wish it were something else or do you wish men would stop labeling you?

Yesterday night I decided to go to the avenues with my freind and her baby, to return some stuff I bought..While we were walking to the shop, I usually don't really notice the people around I just see a bunch of heads when its really crowded..when all of a sudden this familiar face approaches me: Friend: "Hi, N, how are you?? its been a longtime! Me:" Oh hey! I'm good, how are things with you? How's work? Friend: "Wala el hamdila, nushkur Allah, I resigned 2 months ago" (She's Egyptian btw), Me: "Oh, God you too?!", Friend: "Yes, what to do my dear", Me: "Well, I wish you all the best, and glad to run into you", Friend: "Yes, me too, bye!", Me: "Bye!"..
Well, we went along to our shop we got what we wanted, shopped some more... (lazem girls:p) On our way back and right infront of Debenhams, there she was my freind, selling perfume to people!;/
You see, I used to work in a Bank, and she used to work with me at the same Department, but after seeing her spraying perfume to strangers, which was her new job/maybe part-time job I swear I felt like crying.."3aini dama3at". I was already having a bad day, and thought by going out my mood will somehow get better, but unfortunately it got worse;/
You see people, life is not fair to anyone of us, we try our best to fix things and to do the best out what we have..Try to be positive, and we are blessed to have our health and our family and freinds around us. When you think life is screwing up with you, say Hamdilah, cuz there are those people with really much more worse problems.
So try to enjoy life, and don't let those little things ruin your day..

Today I got the chance to watch this VERY FUNNY moviee! I'm not a big fan of Jim Carrey but in this movie he was Really Funny! I enjoyed it:D
It's about a man who says "NO" to everything he comes across on in his life, until he's forced by a freind to go to a seminar where he learns to say "YES!" to everrything he comes across off, Ofcourse that wasn't really the idea of the seminar..You can't say YES! to everyything and everyone...But it sure did change his life! and takes him through a new path in his life...Really fun movie to watch with some freinds:))

"The Last Wow "

The tumors had been growing for as long as I had known him. They had spread wherever they could, blocking every effort to reduce their size and number. They were entrenched in the fabric of our society, draining whatever of life’s resources to keep them alive and growing. Dr. Jaafar Behbehani desperately wanted to stop them them. But he knew that the tumors of unprofessionalism had their own agenda.

The tumors he saw were an invisible plague visited on the most vulnerable people, made double victims of their psychological problems by a largely unregulated gaggle of pseudo-professionals who offered psychological advice under a dozen different self-descriptions.

Spending untold hours at the Kuwait University Faculty of Medicine, he invested his personal time repairing the damage done by those who are the least among us. He never charged his patients. But the damage from the unseen psychological tumors multiplied much faster than one man could possibly hope to undo. So Dr. Jaafar decided to think a generation ahead. He would win his war by recruiting young professionals who he would mold in the ethic of his own image. I was one of the soldiers he enlisted. Some of us were rebels looking for a cause. And after all, who could say no to a man like Dr. Jaafar? Who could say no to the man who we, as his students, wanted to emulate?

One day, he surprised me at my cubby. I was writing afterhours, and he had just finished seeing a patient in his office. I was frantically working on what would become my first book, an illustrated children’s book about defining ourselves by what makes us alike rather than what separates us. He was curious. I was 24, and naïve, and full of more passion than logic. I told him that I was going to change Kuwait with my writings; writings that at that point that were little more than a few scribbles and some words.

“Wow!” he said. “Change Kuwait? Why not change the world? I like that!”

He liked a lot of things. He had a knack for making people feel special for who they are as well as what they do.

Two years ago we finally sat down to deal with those unseen tumors. We came up with a plan to change the psychology landscape in Kuwait. I called it the Sultan Center method of psychological services. Before Sultan Center, the supermarkets in Kuwait were abysmal. The Sultans built the best supermarket in Kuwait and forced the rest of the supermarkets to either change or go out of business. And it worked.

Dr. Jaafar hated that analogy.

So we decided on a division of responsibilities. I would be responsible for the business side of our future, and he the aesthetic. The clinic was to look like Dr. Jaafar dresses, simple and elegant, the look of someone entirely professional and comfortable with himself. Everything ran smoothly until he called me one day in October of 2008. He wanted me in to help choose the color of the paint on the wall. You really don’t want me doing that I told him. He replied that I would be the one that had to live with the colors. He was sending a message. It wasn’t about the colors. I could see it in his eyes. Any question from me would have been met by silence, perhaps a smile. He had shared all that he intended to.

The following week he announced a leave of absence from the Medical School. I immediately went to see him. “Its my throat,” he told me as he cleared it. “My throat hurts, he said. It really hurts.” He traveled abroad for therapy. While he was planning the removal of the unseen tumor that had lodged itself in his profession, another tumor found its way into his body. It wasn’t his throat. He was protecting me.

We spoke daily until he started his therapy and then on weekends. And soon I started receiving updates from his family when words weren’t easy for him anymore. And God knows, they weren’t easy for any of us.

Our clinic opened in May. He was not there but I took pictures and shared with him the surprising influx of patients that had come through the doors in the first months. He was very happy. “Wow!,” he said in his trademark way. The tumors of unprofessionalism he had been fighting for years were shrinking. He was winning that war. But another tumor was quietly and decidedly growing inside his body. Soon, he slipped into a coma.

I saw Dr. Jaafar for the last time in July. He had awoken from the coma but was having difficulty staying awake. His vocabulary was down to a handful of words. His family tried to keep him awake. But he would close his eyes. I went to his bedside with my laptop to show him pictures of my children who he had always treated like his own. He kept his eyes open. I then showed him a clip of THE 99 animation that he had encouraged for years. He watched and when it ended he said “Wow!” He was down to a handful of words, but a sense of wonderment was still part of his being. Wow indeed. Even as he was dying he was encouraging me. You are, you have always been “the Wow,” Dr. Jaafar.

Dr. Jaafar Behbehani passed away on August 7th, 2009. But before he did, he made giant steps toward challenging the countless tumors that plagued so many Kuwaitis who were badly served by those who prey on the insecurities of others. But in the end, he was unable to fight the physical one that was affecting him. It is perhaps one of the most painful feelings to lose someone as close as he was to me. His support was endless, his sense of wonderment contagious, his professionalism unmatched, his love abundant and his ability to coach and support and cajole inspiring. He was one of the most amazing people ever to come into my life. So much of who I am today is because of his love and support.

Dr. Jaafar…Jaafar…if you can hear me, I want to tell you that my throat hurts. It hurts very much.

I miss you.

INTEREST.

Independent" without even thinking about it.

I'm a beach person, I love to snuggle with my books and magazines and my ipod and just chill by a pool, Lazy B was the perfect place...
Its located @Beirut, Street of Sayda highway.
The beach area wasn't that good, the pool area was quieter, with fewer people, and the pools water was a chiller in this humid hot weather which is perfect! And the best part is "No Kids are Allowed in the Pool". And there's a beautiful section with shades, beds, and a book case, but it's located near the exit which isn't the right place for such a beautiful idea..

Few things i didnt like, was that there's no music, and the pool's water was a bit salty:p
Other than that it was a coolzi place to just chill..
So.. Lazy B, is the place to be:)

Had Enough From Beirut!!!!

OMG!! I've been here for almost 2 weeks and i'm going crazzzzzyyy!!! the stupid, stupid traafiic!! the stupid sticky humidity!!, the totally insaane drivers makee you wana jump offf the jabal!! SERIOUSLY PPL!! They should put some new rules for their streets, you can barely enjoy the music or your daily day dreaming while your in your car!!:P the kid beggars who don't care if they'll get hit by a car! the motor cyles who rolll right next to you, they can see what your typing on your BB. OMG!!!
Let that alone!
I had manyy incidents one of them is having an internet connection: P.S (If you come to Lebanon trust No Body!) they screw up with ur head, they steal your money! and then they act all nice after you scream at them and proving that they're wrong!!
Finally, traveling with 1 parent is a hassel alone, then another parent comes along, now the fun begins...!!! (I Love my parents soo much!!!) But, actually staying with them 24/7 kills me:( especially while they're gettin older, they have many MANY opinions! For example!! when is a good time to wash my hair! "YESS!!!"
